Sara and Brett’s Bonnet House wedding brought sunflowers, blue attire and a lively celebration into the colorful gardens of this Fort Lauderdale estate. From the courtyard to the palm-lined paths, the photographs follow the two of them through a setting full of texture, color and small places to pause together.
Color and character at Bonnet House
Bonnet House Museum & Gardens brings a different kind of backdrop to a Fort Lauderdale wedding. In Sara and Brett’s photographs, yellow railings, blue doors and tropical planting sit alongside the estate’s arches and shaded paths. We kept these details in the wider portraits so the photographs remember the place as well as the celebration.
Sunflowers and the moments before
The bright sunflowers in Sara’s bouquet echoed the color around the estate. We photographed her dress, flowers and personal details alongside the getting-ready moments and time with her wedding party. Brett’s blue suit carried another part of that palette into their portraits.
Together in the courtyard
Before the larger gathering, the courtyard gave Sara and Brett room for a few moments together. Their photographs move from a wide view of the house and gardens to the close expressions between them. The veil, flowers and blue suit bring their own colors and textures into the scene.
A ceremony beneath the palms
The ceremony photographs follow the palm-lined aisle to the fountain backdrop. The wide frames show the guests and garden setting, while the closer views stay with Sara and Brett during the vows and first kiss. Afterward, their wedding party gathered in the same space for portraits.
From garden paths to the dance floor
A walk through the grounds gave the couple portraits a more relaxed pace before the evening celebration. Later, the collection changed with the party: a first dance, friends on the stairs and guests filling the dance floor. The same colorful setting carried through from the quieter portraits to the last photographs of the night.
