Nina & Ayrton
A ceremony beneath a moss-draped oak. Burgundy jackets and warm autumn-colored flowers. A few quiet minutes beside the pond as the sun fell through the trees. Nina and Ayrton’s Rockin H Ranch wedding brought all of these textures together, and we were there to photograph it.
A ranch wedding in Palm City
Rockin H Ranch gives a wedding day a strong sense of place. The blue barn, wooden fences, vintage horse trailer and broad oak canopy all appear in the photographs from Nina and Ayrton’s celebration. The setting feels connected from one part of the day to the next, with rustic details that work just as well in a wide view of the property as in a close portrait.
The details before the vows
We started with the pieces they had chosen for the day: wedding rings, the floral invitation, ivory shoes and a bouquet in pink, burgundy and golden tones. Nina’s lace dress and Ayrton’s burgundy jacket carried those textures into their portraits. Window light and the ranch’s vintage furnishings gave the getting-ready photographs a warm, personal backdrop.
Vows beneath the oak
Their ceremony took place beneath a spreading oak, with soft draping, wooden benches and barrel accents framing the aisle. The photographs follow the first kiss into a joyful walk back through their guests—and one more kiss in the aisle. Afterward, the same tree made a natural setting for portraits with their wedding party.
A little time for the two of them
For their couple portraits, we moved between the ranch lane, the trees and the edge of the pond. The water reflected the greenery while the evening sun lit Nina’s veil. We kept a mix of portraits and relaxed moments: holding hands, walking together and laughing in an embrace. The wide photographs show the place; the closer frames bring the attention back to Nina and Ayrton.
