Kaila and Vincent celebrated their elopement in the tropical gardens of The Arbor Estate in Miami’s Redland area. Daniel Quinones of Miami Wedding Studio photographed the ceremony and portraits, from their vows on the wooden bridge to a laughing embrace outside the cottage. It was the first elopement hosted at the estate, and these photographs tell the story through the couple and the setting around them.
Vows above the koi pond
The garden bridge gave us two views of the ceremony: a wide frame with the koi pond, bamboo and winding walkway, and closer photographs of Kaila and Vincent with their officiant. Those wider images establish the place; the smiles during the vows bring the story back to the two people at its center.
Portraits around the estate
The Arbor Estate offers several distinct backgrounds for wedding portraits. Here, the cottage is framed by trees and string lights, a curved stone path runs between palms, and the white barn creates a clean architectural frame. We used those settings to photograph the couple together while keeping the full surroundings in the story.
The little moments between portraits
Some of our favorite photographs are the ones with room for a little playfulness: Vincent lifting Kaila outside the cottage, a kiss beneath her veil, and a walk through the estate in black and white. Together, they balance the wide garden views with photographs that let their expressions fill the frame.
