Jennifer and Justin’s Coconut Palm Inn wedding brought everyone to the water’s edge in Tavernier. White flowers, black tuxedos and soft neutral bridesmaid dresses kept the setting simple, with Florida Bay and the palms providing the backdrop. From a tearful ceremony to portraits on the dock and a lively reception, these are a few of our favorite photographs from their day.
Getting ready among the palms
The getting-ready photographs bring together the small details and the people closest to Jennifer and Justin: a white-rose bouquet, a few quiet bridal portraits and glasses raised with the wedding party. The balconies and tropical greenery gave these moments a clear sense of place before everyone gathered by the bay.
A few moments together by the water
Along the waterfront, we photographed Jennifer and Justin together with the open bay behind them. The pale sky and water left room for small gestures and expressions, while the palms and greenery offered a different frame for their portraits. The wedding party joined them for photographs beside the bay.
A ceremony beside Florida Bay
White flowers marked the aisle, with guests gathered close and the water visible beyond the ceremony. Justin’s reaction as Jennifer arrived was one of the moments we were glad to preserve. The kiss and the celebration around it brought everyone into the story.
From dock portraits to evening color
The wooden dock gave us space for walking portraits and a quiet view across the bay. Later, the sky brought deep blue and pink into the photographs. For couples planning portraits here, leaving a little flexibility around the evening light gives your photographer room to respond to the conditions on the day.
The celebration after dark
Jennifer and Justin entered the reception together, then the evening moved onto the dance floor. Spark fountains framed their dance and a kiss; later, guests surrounded them with raised arms and light sticks. The final photographs feel full of the movement and celebration that carried the night.
