Stone, light and open space

The monastery’s stonework gives a wide wedding portrait a strong sense of scale. We used the walls as a backdrop for Dao and Karina together, letting the texture and repeating shapes frame them. A walk along the building created a different kind of photograph, with their movement softening the formal architecture.

Portraits in the gardens

The garden photographs bring a softer side to the collection. Greenery and hanging roots created close, shaded settings for the couple, while the lawn gave their wedding party space to gather. Their pale blue and gray attire stood out against the deeper green background.

The evening outside the monastery

As the light changed, the stone facade became a backdrop for one last celebration. Guests surrounded Dao and Karina with sparklers, and we photographed both the wider gathering and a closer kiss. Those evening frames give the collection a different energy from the quieter garden portraits.
