Chrispin & Netania

White flowering trees lined the ceremony, black-and-white attire echoed the venue’s clean architecture, and the dance floor carried that same contrast into the evening. Chrispin and Netania’s wedding at The White Orchid brought a bold, personal celebration to Miami’s Redland. These are a few of the moments we photographed along the way.
The White Orchid, from the outside in
The approach to the white barn and the view across the ceremony lawn set the scene for this wedding. Chrispin and Netania used the bright architecture as a backdrop for a full black-and-white design: white flowers and chairs outside, then candlelight, draping and a checkerboard dance floor inside.

Before the celebration
The story started in the smaller details: the wedding gown against a stone wall, a white dinner jacket with black lapels, and the flowers and keepsakes chosen for the day. We photographed the getting-ready moments alongside these details so the finished collection carries both the design and the people behind it.

A garden ceremony in white
The long white aisle led to flowering trees, with guests seated on either side of the lawn. The photographs move from that wide view to Chrispin and Netania together at the front, then back through the guests as the newlyweds returned down the aisle. Their expressions and the reactions around them gave the formal setting its warmth.

Portraits with room to breathe
After the ceremony, the white barn, stone wall and clipped greenery gave us several distinct backgrounds for portraits. We mixed photographs of the couple with wedding-party and family groups, keeping the architecture in the wider frames and making room for quieter moments beneath the veil.

The room comes alive
Inside, the reception design continued the day’s palette with a black-and-white dance floor surrounded by white tables and flowers. Their entrance, the cake and champagne tower, and the celebration on the dance floor brought a different rhythm to the photographs. The evening ended with guests gathered around the couple outside.

Planning photos at The White Orchid
For a wedding with a strong design direction, we recommend leaving a short window to photograph the ceremony and reception spaces before guests enter. A family-photo list helps keep group portraits moving, while a separate moment for the two of you allows us to explore the venue’s architecture without rushing. Tell us which parts of your day matter most, and we’ll plan coverage around them.
